J-Syn is an American recording artist. Growing up in the Jamaica, Queens area of New York, he has the east coast-influenced sound in his music. His popularity is growing underground with single track leaks before the release of his mixtape.
His start was as a rapper spitting verses on popular instrumentals. J-Syn's buzz started to grow with some of his dancehall songs, especially with his dancehall remix to Rihanna's Rudeboy. After seeing his music showing up on many websites across the internet, J-Syn decided it was time to release some new rap songs. That's when he recorded and released his Hottest in the Hood freestyle which gained the attention of hip-hop listeners. He then recorded a verse on Lil Wayne's Right Above It, which made his buzz even bigger than it was. J-Syn took it to another level featuring on a verse for the Nicki Minaj song Ice Cream Man. That hard work and dedication is what took him to where he is now. It's definitely not going to stop there. This is just the beginning for J-Syn. His song Motivated, which features T-Pain, is a big hit on the internet and in the clubs.
His popularity is beginning to grow, and is steadily increasing across the internet. J-Syn’s becoming an artist that many people are looking out for. His music is also being heard in the club scene and on the radio.
He recently recorded a verse for Mims new single Winter’s My Summer, which is now on iTunes. Its evident that J-Syn will stop at nothing as he continues to create music for a wide range of listeners.
